England is set to narrow down the prospective options for the 2018 World Cup as the competition draws closer. Those given the task of narrowing down the possible locations are alleged to be devising an overall design proposal, with the concept of bringing football home. Football Association Committees are reportedly considering a possible 16 nominees to be in the running, they will then have the tricky task of narrowing the contestants down to a mere four. Once they have made the decision on the final four an agreed application will purportedly be submitted to Fifa. This is certain to have sports betting fans placing bets over who the finalists will be.

The FA's requirements are said to cover the potential venues assets, including the locations fan parks, training facilities, base camps and the stadium. The FA are said to select 12 locations who they believe to possess these qualities, such as health and safety plans, tight security, a mass of public support and both profound transport and accommodation facilities.

Locations that have already made the list are said to comprise of 'England's second city' Birmingham, which houses an outstanding occupancy of 43,000 with, plans of increasing this in the future. Hull, Leeds and Leicester are just a few other locations to be considered; all have been described as both substantial and outfitted stages for the event.
