Genting Highlands, among the most visited tourist resorts in Malaysia, is often a mountain on the border relating to the states of Pahang and Selangor. Located 1700 meters above sea level, Genting Highlands can be reached by car within one hour from Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, and it is accessible by the world's fastest cable car Genting Skyway. The resort was discovered by late Tan Sri Lam Goh Tong in 1960s.
